You'll probably be disappointed in that case, the cheap ones tend to struggle even on wheel bolts/nuts let alone crank pulley bolts etc.

Thats the best mentioned so far. But you need to be 100% sure what you need it for. IF you think this will remove rim bolts Forget it !
If you want to smash in 4 inch screws all day along it will be fine. As long as you use 'impact bits' . The real skill is learning what tools for what job. I have seen guys use these on £££££ kitchens and wreck the wood etc .

Indeed. Big difference between an impact driver and an impact wrench.
And the OP's Lidl option is neither. It's a drill/drive with a hammer option.

Why does everyone think an impact driver is designed to push screws into wood? They're for pushing drywall screws into metal frames, been like that for years. A straight forward battery drill is what you need, the Lidl one will be fine for the money.

An impact driver is perfect for pushing screws into wood, with the bonus of not ruining the screw head. Much better than a standard combi drill or drill driver. They are also lighter and smaller.
Im with B17NNS, the erbauer stuff is very good at that price point, and the brushless variants are as good as any dewalt or makita.
Batteries are 20 quid a pop too vs ridiculous money for the big brands

I tend to only use an Impact driver for any screwing, combo gathers dust. If delicate then use a manual screwdriver to do final turns.
Get one with an LED light and 4.0AH batteries if single, smaller if double and you are organised enough to keep one on charge. Buy good quality screws and no pre-driling is required, otherwise pre-drill or the torque might ruin the head.
Rather than spending £40 on a Lidl thingy, Makita is what i would go for. Get into an eco system as once you have a charger/battery then buying additional 'bare' tools is cheaper.
Buying new online is much cheaper than screwfix too and full warranty so no issues.

An impact driver is far better than a battery drill for this job, it's much quicker, much lighter and doesn't damage the screw head. I've used my Makita ones for tens of thousands of screws, it's a great tool for the job.

Makita do 20min charge time too.
I bought a load of makita 18v stuff last year and it's all fantastic. (I imagine dewalt stuff is on a par)
Impact is perfect for framing and doing stud work driving 5' screws. Easy.

Kind of, it's not quite a vibration, it's more of a defined impact, the frequency is fairly low. It will drive pretty much any screw into pretty much any wood with no discernable resistance.
